深圳市农科集团有限公司成立于2002年，由1985年成立的市局级事业单位—农科中心成建制改制而来，现为深业集团的成员单位。
公司注册资本两亿元，净资产40亿元，总资产50亿元，属下十家全资控股公司、一个研发中心（中心实验室）及六个研究所，拥有员工八百多人，其中高级技术人员一百多人。
